Bloch insists drunk party guest apologise for 'fat' jibe

The style king was leaving a Tuesday night (23Aug11) bash at New York's Standard nightclub when he took offence when another man attempted to bar two strangers from the elevator.

A source tells the New York Daily News the drunk party guest blurted out, "No fat people allowed in the elevator; only people who threw up their dinner can fit." Bloch and the lift operator insisted the man apologise to the couple. He did.

Designer Phillip Bloch demanded a drunk reveller apologise to two portly party guests after he told them they were too fat to ride an elevator with his group.
