MTS Launches Service With 9.8 Mbps Speed


New Delhi: Sistema Shyam Teleservices System (SSTL), which provides services to the MTS brand, today announced a faster version of its broadband services "MBlaze", priced at Rs 2499 offers speeds up 'to 9.8 Mbps.

"I'm very proud to announce the world premiere of CDMA EV-DO network in India Rev.B Phase II. This historic launch will change the way customers experience we deploy the Ultra Mobile Broadband MBlaze all India," Indian MTS President and CEO Vsevolod Rozanov said.




Ultra MBlaze new service is introduced slowly."That was launched in Jaipur, and soon to top the meters and other major cities of India in the near future," said Rozanov.SSTL plans to invest close to Rs 50 crore in Rajasthan in 2011 Rozanov said. He invested Rs 13,500 crore in India so far.

"Upgrades to EV-DO Rev B, Phase II will allow MTS to offer advanced network of customers with even greater speed, more penetration in and out of coverage," Qualcomm India and South Asia , President Avneesh Agrawal said.

SSTL, a joint venture between Shyam Group of India, Russia and System, has more than 13 million wireless subscribers, according MBlaze brand and offer mobile broadband to more than 1,000,000 customers in over 200 cities across countries.
