No 'Bigg Boss 5' for Dino Morea

Model-turned-actor Dino Morea says that he has not been approached to participate in reality show "Bigg Boss".

"CLARIFICATION: I have not been approached, nor do I have the intention of being part of 'Big Boss', as reported, " Dino wrote on microblogging site Twitter. Rumours that Dino might appear in the fifth season of "Bigg Boss" started off when he was spotted with the host of the show Salman Khan at Filmcity where the superstar was shooting for another reality show.

Kangna Ranaut to learn how to fly

It's common to hear about actors learning something new for a part in the movies. Like Vivek Oberoi training to fly for his anti-hero character in the forthcoming Krrish. Now, Kangna Ranaut wants to learn to fly a plane, but not for any role in any movie in the near future.

Her pilot brother, apparently, has inspired her to pursue this new thrill. According to our source, "Kangna's brother Akshat, who's training at a flying school in New Zealand, was going to be in Los Angeles around the same time as the actress (who had to attend an event there).

'Big Brother 13' Recap: Jordan Goes Crazy

Jordan Lloyd from Big Brother 11 and now Big Brother 13 is America's Sweetheart. She's a nice little girl who may not be the sharpest tool in the shed (in fact, her intelligence is more comparable to the fertilizer in the shed), but she's always nice and pleasant.

Don't sacrifice health for hair

On August 25, The New York Times reported on Dr. Regina M. Benjamin's comments when she spoke at Atlanta's trade fair Bronner Brothers International Hair Show, which draws some 60,000 hair stylists. Benjamin cited that this is a particularly hot-button issue for black women, like herself, who sometimes invest considerable time and money into transforming naturally curly hair into silky manes. Sweat is a notorious killer of smooth hair.

Steve Jobs resigns as CEO of Apple

In a resignation letter to the board, Mr Jobs, who has fought a long-running battle with cancer, wrote: “I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know.

Wrong turn 2: Dead End

I remember enjoying the first one but I don’t remember why. It was probably Eliza Dushku thinking about it. However she isn’t in it which is a pity, we have instead a collection of young mostly stupid wannabe reality stars.

Kajal says no to film with Hrithik

Ajay Devgn may have garnered a lot of eyeballs in Singham, what with his action scenes, but so has the film's leading lady Kajal Aggarwal. After the success of the film, Aggarwal has been approached by filmmakers in Bollywood but the actress has turned every one of them down.

According to sources, she has turned down offers by top directors and producers like Madhu Mantena, Vashu Bhagnani, Samir Karnik and Harry Baweja. In fact, Mantena who made the blockbuster Ghajini, wanted to remake the 2009 Telugu hit Magadheera with Kajal.

Want a tan without using sunbeds

Scientists have developed a tiny implant that be placed under the skin to give a three-month tan without using sunbeds, it emerged today. The capsule is no bigger than a grain of rice but it is implanted under the skin and stimulates the production of melanin.

The naturally occurring pigment controls the colour of the skin and how much UV radiation is absorbed. By releasing the chemical, the skin would become darker and could resemble a healthy bronzed tan. Although the implant was initially developed by medics in order to alleviate skin conditions, experts believe it could be taken up by the beauty industry.

Laurel Brown's Best and Worst Picks of the Fall 2011 Season

With more than 30 new shows and countless returning favorites, the fall 2011 TV season is more loaded than a baked potato. BuddyTV writer Laurel Brown has looked through all of it and has chosen the three best and the three worst things about the new season.

THE BEST Late-Start Shows Usually, September is when our favorite shows return. This year, however, things are a little different. Two of my favorites -- Bones and Chuck -- won't return to television until late October and early November.

Team Anna 'solidly' backs Kiran Bedi on privilege issue

Team Anna Hazare on Tuesday rallied behind its key member Kiran Bedi who is facing a breach of privilege notice in Parliament for her controversial remarks against MPs, warning such move would be perceived by people as lawmakers' way to seek revenge on them.
Arvind Kejriwal, a key Team Anna member, said the entire team was "solidly" behind Bedi.
He said, "She will respond to the notice as and when the notice is received. The notice has not been received so far. It does not constitute breach of privilege of Parliament. You may like it or not, that's a different thing but it does not constitute breach of privilege of Parliament."

I won't scare Katrina, claims SRK

Shah Rukh Khan was recently taken aback with the news of Katrina Kaif having inhibitions about sharing screen space with him. As polite as ever, SRK gracefully conveyed his message to Kat, by claiming that she won’t be able to escape his charisma.
